Music from most of the Sonic games, of course. Catchy and fun, not to mention the awesomeness of the melodic hard rock tracks in Sonic Adventure I and II, and Sonic Heroes. Bwned.

I like game music. I have a lot of OST's.

I'm currently listening to the Tales of symphonia OST.

Xenogears: Creid is the best VGM album ever. Mitsuda offered his finest on that release.

Pfft. I have a bought copy. It's just not very easy to find anymore. Maybe like on eBay or such, but. Now download it.

Haha. I might just have to do that. Once I get home from work of course.

    My favorite games (musically):

    - Sonic 1,2,3 & K (what can be said? just awesome). If you disagree listen again to Hidden Palace, Hydrocity, Flying Battery, Mystic Cave....

    - Final Fantasies, specially V and VI (don't know why some people don't like FFV... good game, good music)

    - Many other games have good music, specially Snes' and Genesis' (Zelda, Streets of Rage)... I think game music lost some of it's magic with these new games (there are exceptions of course) with hollywoodesque music that seems always the same and is NOT catchy at all, indeed it's very forgetable...
Old games OSTs rule it all

I like listening to game music but i dont want to overplay it, otherwise i might get sick of it. I tend to like music from the Final Fantasy series and Chrono Trigger.

I'm a huge fan of VGM.. my favorite soundtrack would have to be Perfect Selection Dracula New Classic, which contains classical arrangements from the Castlevania games. I've seen it reach up to $1,500 on yahoo japan auctions (never have seen it on ebay)

I don't like the games like GT2 which just use premade music as tracks instead of originals...

Hmm, I could have sworn I'd posted in here. Anyway:

    Donkey Kong Country series
    Maximum Carnage (Green Jello/Jelly!)
    Super Mario World
Street Fighter 2 (best soundtrack ever, hands down)
    Serious Sam: The Second Encounter

Yeah, I know I posted in here, but the post seems to have vanished.

How on earth could I forget about Castlevania (Symphony of The Night, in special) and Chrono Trigger....

Music in Japanese shooters like Thunder Force is also usually great (it has that J-Rock feel that I like
