just bought Coheed and Cambria's brand spanking new cd: In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3. Wicked good (NH words are comin out!)
I finally purchased Dream Theatre's Falling Into Infinity to stave me over until Train of Thought and I must say I am a bit disappointed. This album is very different from the others. I find the entire first half just to be boring, lacking in LaBrie's trademark beltings, but the last half pleases me much more, reminiscent of A Change of Seasons in some ways.

FII is probably my least favourite from them, but Lines In The Sand and Trial Of Tears are sheer brilliance. Anyway, While I've been away (I still am, net cafe) I've bought
Chimaira - The Impossibility Of Reason
Dark Tranquility - Damage Done
Mastodon - Remission
Rush - Presto
Rush - Grace Under Pressure
Fear Factory - Soul Of A New Machine
Smashing Pumpkins - Zero
And a few others I can't remember right now, unfortunately I spent all my money very quickly, so I can't buy Absolution until I get home...
I bought Darkness - Permission to Land (purely for the hell of it - it was only 9) and Muse - Absolution. I haven't had a chance to listen to either yet though as my brother took them both to work with him this morning.
Increase the size of your wang - PM crusher the words "poo poo" for extra length now!
Beware Coward!

Lines In The Sand is great and I liked it instantly, I also think that Peruvian Skies and Hollow Years are great, and I now wodner why i didn't like them from the start.Originally posted by Magus

Even if you're not impressed with it, it may grow on you, given time.
I agree with Johnny and Daz, I mentioned it on this site that its the weakest cd they have, but still some of songs are very good and better than some bands will ever put out.Get "Awake", you wont be dissapointed.Originally posted by Magus

I am glad I am not the only fan that feels this way about it.
I do have Awake. It is far better than Falling into Infinity in my opinion. All I need now is Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence and Images and Words.

i just bought Punk-O-Rama 7. It's a compilation w/ some really good punk bands. There's NOFX, Millencolin, Pennywise, Dropkick Murphys, Guttermouth, Rancid, The Bouncing Souls, and a bunch others.
The dvd which comes with Absolution is dead sexy, if just for the bit where Matt Bellamy is counting on his fingers and gets confused. Pity the album only came out here today. Did any of you Aussies get the free shirts they're giving away on your side of the Tasman? Note to Aussies: if you email FMR with your home address and requesting merch, they'll send you free Muse posters for the sake of it. I'm gonna see if NZers get the same deal...
I ended up getting the CD-only version, as none of my local stores had the bonus DVD edition in stock. The album itself is brilliant though, my favourite track is probably 'The Smallprint'.
I got a poster, lalalala...
I bought a heap of CD's today:
Linkin Park-Reanimation
Iron Maiden-Dance of Death
Metallica-St Anger
John Mayer-Heavier Things
Darius-Dive In
