As long as you can see what MB brand it is you can look up the beep codes. If there's a debug LED on the board the codes for that should be available too.

Dunno how well you can see it but this is it..

Sort of. Definitely not the stock Intel HS & fan
Looks like no debug LED unfortunately. Here are the beep codes: https://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/bios-beep-codes
I'm guessing the cooler is this: http://www.zalman.com/contents/produ...ew.html?no=367
Amusing coincidence if it is .
Can't remember how many beeps it was. Gah, guess I'll have to hook it up again. At some point
Trying to rack my brain here, think it is the bad cpu/mobo beeps.
It's too bad it doesn't have a little display or LEDs on the board. Makes it much easier to suss out problems.
Everything lights up so hopefully the ps is fine.
It switches completely off after beeping at me too btw.
I'm gonna go see if we have the proper tool in the office or storeroom for that effin fan system.
The manual doesn't have removal instructions but it shouldn't be too tricky to inverse the Intel install steps. Looks like an allen wrench/hex key is needed for some of it. Best of luck, I'm off for now .
