Basically, in FPS multiplayer parlance, being called a noob essentially means you're incompetent, mentally deficient, some other mean words, and something almost definitely involving your mother.

I hate online shooters...

To be fair, in CS it's mostly just angry russians or silence. It's not exactly the same as most FPS' since you have to actually control your aim and fire. Can't just spray every direction for years.

But angry russians are not fun.

Ah, I'm not russian, it's just the russian population on almost any valve game is extremely high so they sometimes invade into the NA servers and just shout in russian ALL game.
