    : About the Game :

The 3rd Birthday is a third-person role-playing shooter developed by HexaDrive and published by Square Enix. The game was made for the PlayStation Portable and is a spin-off from the Parasite Eve series. The game takes place in Manhattan, New York City ten years after the events of Parasite Eve II. The player takes on the role of Aya Brea, and must fight against mysterious "Twisted" creatures threatening the city.

: Glitches and Its Solution :

    1) Overdive Glitch

This glitch happens when you use overdive, the 'soldier form' still remains on-screen till you exit into the next room.

The solution is to press the overdive button once more quickly and leave it. It will be gone.

    2) Lighting Overlay Problem

Was present from a very long time {even in the previous versions}, but now occurs only if you press the 'back' on your android to save/load state or sometimes even randomly.

The solution is again to press the overdive button quickly and leave it.

    3) Uncontrollable Lighting Bloom

Very new glitch, also causes the shaking of the screen vigorously.

The solution is to get away from the light source. Good thing is it only happens in some of the starting levels only.

    : Personal Verdict :

The game is fantastic in terms of gameplay, game length and graphics. Voice acting is good too, although you will find the story a little confusing. Weapon mods are great and so is the upgrade system. The music is fantastic, both eerie and adrenaline pumping. Overall, great experience as a game made for a portable device.

As a little side note to all those wacko nerds like Me , the game's damage system is a little cheesy. Make Aya Brea take damage, bits of her clothing get ripped off. Don't know why was it even included( including a little surprise in the video log as well), but then again, its a nerds delight. hehehe!

For all those impatient gamers, I have included the game save files with everything unlocked. You can play the game using that. Just paste it in the PPSSPP Android folder.

Save files in the attachment list below. They are for the US version.
