Yeah the 770 is definitely better than my card. You shouldn't have any problems with new games. Even my card can run The Witcher 2 at great framerates on High.

I liked LoS like 3 years ago when it first came out, mainly because I got it right before Halloween, so the atmosphere was there.
However, the game just really isn't that good, and MANY better games have come and gone since it's initial release.

Yes, for sure, although I don't have a character to port over from BG1.... Nemesis and I were supposed to play through BG over Thanksgiving, but he kept blowing me off and playing League of Tools and some stupid Robot Wars game, and continued on his own on BG and beat it himself.

Anyhoo, yes, I'm gonna buy BG2 and I've actually never played it before so I'm looking forward to this.

The Alienware rig is a desktop, that's why it has a 770 in it
My Laptop has a GT 555m. It's decent - it can actually play most anything, but it has some real issues displaying 1080p. I'm kinda like Gare - if I have to run a PC game at anything less than 1080, I notice how blurry everything is and it drives me up the wall.

My Laptop has a GT 555m. It's decent - it can actually play most anything, but it has some real issues displaying 1080p. I'm kinda like Gare - if I have to run a PC game at anything less than 1080, I notice how blurry everything is and it drives me up the wall.

It doesn't bother me much. I can enjoy any quality. Although Crysis 3 with everything maxed is pretty enjoyable. Can't say I hate it, But II'm pretty sure it runs at 30 some odd FPS and still looks fine.

If it's anything like BG1, I'm sure there won't be issues playing between pirated and official copies. I don't think there's any DRM to speak of, even with the Steam version since I know Nem played it on Steam with Zal, who clearly didn't have a copy obtained by legal means.
