Asynch mode works for the major part of the games but in others the game don't run at all and is very useful for low end machines since in slow frame drops the audio get stable.

Well, it didn't work in this case, and in the program it even says when selecting Asynch mode, "May break your game." Which it did. Horribly.
Is there anything else I can do, or am I just screwed when it comes to these games?

Is there a reason that while you are trying to speed up your game your using sound interpolation that even says it will be slow?
There is a difference between ignorance and stupidity ignorant people can be taught
stupid people need to be shot.
Ask the guy that suggested I change it to that?
EDIT: Oh, wait, that. It's set that way by default. I changed it and it sped it up to normal speed, but the sound was horrible.

Double posting for update?
Anyway, I messed around with the audio settings, and finally got Phantasy Star Gen II to PLAYABLE, but the two Tales games refuse to work. I have a feeling it's something to do with the sound, because every time a BGM plays that isn't part of a movie, everything slows down to nothing. Guess I have to wait and see if someone will make a fix or not.
