X would be my second-favourite BTW, because it really showed what the PS2 could do game and graphically-wise; but again, the un-skippable cutscenes kinda wore it down for me.

I also liked Blitzball a lot, a welcome distraction.

me neither although being a fan of it myself i liked FF4 much more (I AM RHYMING)
I also liked dawn of souls
it was fun and the skill system was entertaining
I wasted hours training with all weapons

XII, obviously. The only FF game I wasted more than a hundred hours on.

Tactics also deserves love, though.
