Doom9 has a thread about it, as I recall.

I'm downloading it now. Not sure if I'll ever use it though...
Can't go back to your old OS without a complete reinstall.

I Considered getting it but I Don't have a drive I can spare in a machine capable of the OS available for use.

Don't think my old Dell D600 would even think of running on Windows 8 and the only other spare machine is even slower than that. My Current laptop I Only have one drive for right now and well im still waiting for my replacement from Seagate for my desktop.

However I've seen and read some about it and it looks kinda odd to me... maybe a bit too simplistic and its bound to wreak havok on older software im guessing.

I tried it, because I wanted to start fresh after W7SP1 was out, and I was upgrading, so I figured WTH.

The Metro tablet junk I didn't care for, but the OS itself was nice, I like the new Task Manager, nothing that really wow you, but it's sensible, smart and practical, that's more than enough.

To run Metro style Apps, you need a screen resolution of 1024 X 768 or greater
I installed it on a virtual machine, wasn't too thrilled. These days I'm mostly running a separate Linux box for my personal stuff, then a Windows box for all my gaming needs.
Software efficiency halves every two years, thus compensating for Moore's Law.
