I'm sorry to hear about this flaming business - apparently, I haven't heard of it. Well, take things as they come - there's always people who somewhat dislike certain others (or are in a bad mood when they come on). I'd just simply see if I can not make a similar mistake (if indeed a mistake did "provoke" the "flaming") - otherwise, I'd simply ignore them. But striking back is definitely not a good idea (not that I am accusing you of doing that). I did that once, and I regretted it.
