Gameshark ISO request (PSX)��..Come on guys just help me out with this.

Hi guys.

I am having a modded PSone and in my country Sony has not even introduced the PSone in the local markets. So majority of them in my country are modded, and there are burnt ISOs for just 30 cents each (one CD game). This wonderland is India. I am not able to find Gameshark CDs anywhere. I tried to import the original one but �..

So I was thinking whether I can get an ISO of the Playstation Gameshark may be version 4.0 so that I can burn it and then use it. I came across this gameshark.zip (just 22 kb) file on the net somewhere on the Playstation utilities page. It was written that it lets you use Action Replay or Gameshark codes without the use of a cartridge (now where the hell the cartridge came from in Playstation�.maybe they meant the original CD). It was written that just burn it with the codes with CDRwin. I haven�t tried it yet. Some help with that one also will be greatly appreciated like do I have to download those Codes Saves Files for a particular game from Gameshark.com and burn them with that zip file. And also I don�t know whether that will work properly on my modded PSone.

I was thinking like where there are ISOs for other good games of Playstation, there must be an ISO of the original Gameshark also.

Come on guys just help me out with this one. I have waited for almost a year for getting my hands on a Gameshark and any Gameshark. I don�t mind if it is an ISO and not the real Gameshark CD.

well dude u can find images for a number of cheat devices on cd by going to www.megagames.com/psx
there is a few shark ones an xplorer one and a few others all less than 1 mb to download enjoy

Get an Xploder ISO instead its 10 times beter you cheater

it supports most gameshark codes plus works on the PSone beter er note it's a PAL CD so try a converter to change the boot sequence before burning it onto CD

Ahem, actually though, a GS CDX requires a special memory card, so the ISO for it is pointless.

You are correct but there are orther CD based GS's that work with out a special mem card but they suck and there is no way of searching for cheats same goes for the Xploder CD but the Xploder just works better

Another one that didn't know about the GS CD that does not require a special mem card lol I can't expect everyone to know this

Well, my point about what the GS can do was that it's not just used for cheating.
In many cases it adds replay value by allowing things not normally possible.
And, as for the Xploder, they all do basically the same thing in the end.

I agree I use these thing more for Debug rooms and getting things that are usually not available like the extra Item and spell and summon upgade in FFVIII that are not available because you need a pocket station to open them normally and I don't have one, another example is playing Driver in the small part of England's Newcastle

Yeh there's loads of fun stuff your Action Replay/Game Shark/Xploder (I'm sure there's more) can be used for

i use a gameshark sampler disk to play all my burned games...hehe

An ISO of Gameshark Lite.

And of course the GS Lite does not need a dongle (Gameshark Memory Card). A normal Playstation Memory Card will do.

Oh yeah.

Just one more thing

It is just a 2 MB file. A .rar one.

Now all I gotta do is just burn it and pop it in in my PSone.

I downloaded a gameshark but when ever i try to boot it on my playstation or emulator it wont load...I havnt had this problems with bins and isos but it there a special way u need to burn the gameshark or sumtin?

PS: my playstation is modded and i have a crap load of burnt games so dont ask me "is ur psone modded" lol

No there isn't any special way to burn it but on a side note the GameShark is NTSC not PAL and can not be patched to PAL either, the PAL one was called Action Replay or Equalizer Extreme, depending on the version

BTW, about saying there wasnt a cartridge for PSone, what they meant was the original GS was an adapter that plugged into the back of a PSoriginal
