    Default Super Mario RPG

    Im having trouble with this rom playing. After the intro when mario jumps, the screen goes black and thats it. Im using CATsnes9x core in retroarch.

    I found out it was the CATSFC core. I used Snes9x Next and it works now. Whats the difference between these different cores?

    Super Mario RPG is a trouble game with many emulators, CATSFC is pretty damn bottom of the barrel but not as bad as ZSNES.

    THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
