movement problems

everytime i open certain games its always movements on its own
like up and down left and right the direction changes sometimes
even in the menu. this happens i cant even play my favorite games
like sonic riders or tony hawk underground.

I've been experiencing this problem for a while. I looked
online but cant find anything i downloaded the roms from here
and some roms act up like this and some dont its weird.

Sounds like a pad issue to me

You can try and recalibrate the controls from Devices and Printers I think it is then game device or control device [Icon should look like a game pad] (I don't have a pad hooked up so not 100% sure)

This is a normal analog issue that the deadzone has moved or the pad did not have the sticks centred when it was calibrated/hooked up or a mix of both, or the sticks are simply moving all the time because it has been worn with use, if that is true then when you go to calibrate it you will see it is moving constantly or shaking, if so time to get a new pad or repair it if possible though that I wouldn't know how to do myself
