How to extract ISOs with out winrar?

The winrar trial version is up and it is now letting me extract any files. I tried 7zip, but I cannot extract the specific rar file, only the whole thing. Any help?

strange, i thought the free version of winrar worked forever (at least, the copy i had for several years did before i finally decided to give 7zip a try. still using 7zip now actually.). as for 7zip, did you go to options and set it to associate with winrar zipped files (it'd be listed as rar under the type column)?

A list of files (including file ext's) and what you are trying to extract would be very cool (a screen grab would be even better) as 7-zip sounds like it is working perfectly fine but some confusion as to what is being extracted seems to be real issue

possibly just file associations making you think you don't have an iso file, happens a lot

What do you mean by this? 7zip extracts everything winrar extracts. The only feature I know winrar has that 7zip doesnt is search function.

Try Peazip, it works great and I have been using it for years and its portable
