does anyone know where i could find a rom this hack will work with? i already tried both the ROM from the snes section here as well as the rom from the GoodSNES2.04 full rom set but no go, neither work at all.

the rom info in that article says:

ty, warrior and yeah, sometimes those hacks can be hard to get to work right (if it works at all for that matter) OR as is this case, they require some odd version of the rom in question. this is definately not the first time i've had to ask for help with getting a hack to work right. if only hacks could be as easy to use/setup as translations, huh?

OO, speaking of translations, i just remembered some great news if you guys are interested: http://agtp.romhack.net/news.php?dat...1+22%3A24%3A44 we may soon see a full translation of Dark Half for snes at long last. ^.^ total progress says 75% but i'm guessing that info is out of date since the project info also says "Published on ›› May 31st, '96".

Well the rom it required was exactly v1.0 of SMW2 YI USA, do you check hashes?

Most No Intro roms are just the best rom from the goodsets usually marked with [!]

No Intro is striving for perfect verified rom dumps though, No Intro is the rom equivalent of Redumps disc images if you get the comparison.

not as often as i should check them it seems. i'm guessing it might be a good idea to try and swap out those goodset romsets i've downloaded here before with the no intro ones. also, after checking again *facepalm* it seems i overlooked the copy included with the goodsnes romset as its version 1.1, not 1.0.
