    Default youtube...auto play...

pretty much the title is the question. i'm still using that html5 video player or whatever it was called which you guys told me about back when i was having audio problems and now a new problem has cropped up. apparently videos simply aren't loading at all now and i'm not sure but it could this auto play thing i noticed in the top right corner of the page on every video. the pages and everything loads up fine but the video player just sits there with that circle of dots loading animation but nothing happens, its not buffering/loading at all. so now it seems i'll be going back to the method of downloading the videos via youtube downloader again to watch things from youtube.

oh and yes, i have tried toggling the auto play off but much like what happens whenever i would watch videos in a playlist, it doesn't stay disabled. so after disabling it i would refresh the page to see if the video would load again and theres the auto play turned on again. for that matter, why is there even an auto play toggle on videos not in playlists in the first place? seems rather stupid to me.

Have you tried to uninstall the html5 plugin and see if youtube works ok now on the current version of firefox?

always something...ok, yeah, the flash player is working now with the audio. oh and its not a html5 plugin, its that page where you toggle which video player to use, standard (flash i assume) or html5. i guess sometimes one will work and other times the other will. i didn't even think to check that again i'll try to remember to check if switching between the 2 works next time something breaks on youtube.

There's a specific plugin I use to do just that, called Youtube Center. It adds a download button underneath videos & allows you to download them at multiple quality levels, among other things. It adds dozens of other options as well, so enabling/disabling autoplay universally, changing the default windowed resolution (player size), etc. I've used the Firefox and Chrome versions, which can be found here and here, respectively.

"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"
