Sound not working on pcsx2

when i launch a game i get an error popup saying "failed creating mastering voice : 0x88890017" and i dident change any setting, 1 minute it worked fine the next the sound fucks up.....these emulators are really unstable, a similar thing happend with the gamecube emulator aswell.

Please post your pc specs and emulator version, and does it happen to every games or specific one?

Also, try using the emulator from official site, if you didn't.

GPU: GTX760
CPU: i5 4670k
RAM: 8GB
64 bit operating system.
umm not sure what else to add, i only know the very basics about computer hardware.

yes, it happens on everygame.

You could try opening the audio settings and choose Directsound - a screenshot of your settings there could help too.

You can also try running it as Administrator. Just right click pcsx2 and choose "run as.."
