The Odyssey 2 being the very first game console I played as a youngster, I have an especially large amount of respect for him. His creation was what first sparked my love affair with video games. Thank you Ralph Baer for your wonderful inventions!

Sad, but 92 is pretty old. I watched a documentary on him years ago and was thoroughly impressed by his works, especially considering he was just a normal guy and not some EE PhD.

RIP Ralph Baer, his works would pioneer what became of video games. I think any gamer owes some respect to him.
