Default Can't patch Spirit Tracks D-Pad hack

Is there an easier way to patch the ROM for Spirit Tracks than using that damnable command-line-based XDelta. Is there a version of that program with a GUI? The reason I ask is I tried to follow the command for it,
xdelta.exe -d -s (old_file) (delta_file) (decoded_new_file) but to no avail. It told me that the file was too big or that there wasn't enough memory or some BS like that, I don't remember of the top of my head, but why can't there be other ways to patch DS games? What should the syntax for the game look like when using command prompt for XDelta?

Sure you can easily patch them with this, http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/598/

BUT the rom must have the exact matching hash on the romhacking page otherwise the patch will fail.

you must use the original scene releases of the DS roms, not no-intros versions, the scene dumps can be found on the main emuparadise website, http://www.emuparadise.me/Nintendo_D...ting-With-L/32
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

That's actually where I download the ROM from, (XENOPHOBIA), the GUI version patched the ROM and it does load in DeSmuME just fine, the controls, wow, it's so nice to use the dpad. Sorry for wasting your time, I should have figured this out on my own.

I've never tried patching the rom for an emulator. I have used a cheat on an R4 cart to do the same thing you're asking, it is something to consider as the carts are cheap enough.
