    Default Not getting four seasons.

It really sucks living in Texas, where I don't get to enjoy four distinct seasons like everyone else. I wish I could move up north.

Why not? It'd be better than it being 60 degrees in December.

We've had some days in the 60s here lately, too. I definitely much prefer the cold, but at the same time I don't mind when I don't have to worry about driving on the ice to and from work on curvy roads. If I could get colder temperatures without lake effect snow, I'd be happy.

Absolutely hate the heat, or else I might be tempted to move to FL where housing is like 1/2-2/3 the price it is here. Also, I'd miss the mountains.

I get four seasons here, although it's summer at Christmas time and if I wanna see snow in winter I really need to head a little north. But afaik my state has more ski resorts than any other.
Can't complain really...summer can be a headache but there are far worse places to be in this country at that time of year

Where do you live in Texas? Because I live in probably the most Texas spot you can live in Texas and we have distinct seasons. Winter is taking a little longer to kick in, but it's noticeable.

southeast oklahoma here and we got snow once so far but otherwise its been anywhere from cold to cool to somewhat warm this winter. a year or 2 ago in summer it got so hot the blinds in one of our bathrooms were literally melting (well, sagging but still) from the heat so summer is when the tin foil goes over our windows. or in the case of my bedroom, tin foild, blinds, and heavy curtains with a window unit air conditioner yeah, it gets that bad in the summer here some times.

In Mediterranean Europe, part where I live, last couple of years we got only autumn (or very mild winter without snow) and extremely hot summer. It looks like global warming has already started.

I live in Indiana, and the winters can be bad.I hate shoveling snow, ugh. It snowed a lot last year, and it's already snowed a couple of times.Spring and fall is pretty here(while it lasts). But summer can be hot.A couple of years ago it was in the 80's in march.(that's not normal). Sometimes I think about moving west, but I'd probably miss the change of seasons.
