This is where my "...and all that..." comes into play. I read manga infinitely heavier than I watch anime. Partly because I can stop whenever I want, the other reason is so I can understand what the hell is going on half the time. ( I can only process stupidity so fast. )
With this in mind, traps and trap accessories in manga are about as common as right-handed people are worldwide.
