Chrono Trigger.
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
Personally, Final Fantasy VI is my favorite of the series. It inticed me to make an uncensored version - Final Fantasy VI Ted Woolsey Uncensored Edition.

Only answer is 7. The best RPG ever. Just a straight forward adventure. No stupid jobs, no dumbass drawing of magic, just find your gear and grind.
LOL STFU mystic quest. that was the WORST.

Squaresoft did have the coolest name of all companies ever. Except for Earvax Records... and every other indie record label, but I digress slightly. Actually, I always felt Secret of Evermore was, like, the most overrated Square game ever along with Brave Fencer Musashi. I can't really explain why, it's just really not my cup of tea. Or was, I should say, it's not like I play Action-RPGs these days. Or plain JRPGs. Why can't every game be like Contra or Fire emblem (or better yet, a mix!)?
With that said I'll always have a soft spot for FFVI, with all the cool characters, memorable villains, secret subquests and whatnot. And FFIX is no doubt the best main series game released for the PSX, eh he he. So yeah, I voted Mystic Quest. Theatrhythm Final Fantasy came in a close second for me.
Oh, right, I think I tried that one out. The intro starts with Biggs and Wegde branding jews, right?
Michael Ballack, he scores free-kicks.
He's got black hair, and he's german.
Michael Ballack, trains in paddocks.
in his spare time, HE FARMS HADDOCKS!
Watch me play Super C, guys!!
1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10-2, 13, Tactics... have I played.
Not choosing an option because I don't want to jump into the bandwagon.
I'd rather troll it; 13. But I'm not.
