Default Dreamcast emulation and swap disc problems.

Hi, so... it's me again and this time the problem is that at least with nulldc the swap disc option won't work, normally this is not a problem cause most of the multi disc games allows you to create a starting file for the next disc, but games like Dancing blade does not have this option you need to swap to the other disc and when I try to use the swap disc option either the game freezes or I get the messages "please insert disc 2" (I think that's what it says cause it's in japanes but by the katakana I read, must be right) Actually that's the reason I bought an used Dreamcast, so I could be able to play the game as it was meant. I wonder if I'll get the same problem with an interesting yet really weird game named D2.
    Any help?

nulldc is not the best dreamcast emulator but it is the fastest

demul is a better emulator for Dreamcast but this is not perfect either (it is slower because it has a higher system requirement)

The best way to play Dreamcast games is still a real dreamcast

I could test D2 with nulldc though if you like

P.S. D2 is a great game, if a little short.

Oh ok, if you can, just let me know if I have to burn the 8 80 min discs version of D2 or if the 5 99 min discs version is able to swap on nulldc.

I actually don't understand why you would burn anything let alone use CD-R rips if all you are doing is emulating, just grab the GDI (GD-Rom dump) versions instead

NullDC can run GDI dumps and does so without burning anything, though the same applies to CD rips, NullDC can run those directly, no burning needed

What I meant was: just in case you can not swap discs on nulldc (I already said some games won't let you save before swaping discs) therefore there wouldn't be a way to finish the game, if that's the case I'd have to burn the discs and play them on my Dreamcast.

By the way I have this Resident evil: code veronica version that doesn't recognize the second disc when it's time to swap (this happens on my Dreamcast, a bad rip I guess) however thanks to the save file for the next disc you can just start the second disc and continue with the saved data.
