Default Looking for help in the later pokemon games

Actually looking to see which is the best emulator to use for these games. They are touch screen and, of course, I'm on a laptop. There MUST be SOME button to press to get them working - but I THINK I pressed every button in an attempt to get it working - yet it stayed stubbornly waiting for me to touch the screen. Which emulator should I download? And how, then, do I get past that touch-screen barrier?

IME if you're going to emulate the pokemon games you'll want to try something like no$gba + no$zoomer for a bigger picture. Touchscreen controls are controlled with the mouse, where you just click the "touch screen" part of the emulator to simulate using the stylus. Pokemon games in particular may require patches for them to work properly though, so just google "pokemon *suchandsuch* patch". Just so we're clear, there are no emulators for the most recent games, X and Y.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

The mouse? Bleeding hell! Didn't even THINK of that! Everything else depends on buttons so was pressing everything as I said. Well thanks very much Maslow - the early games are working well and I thought I'd just have to give up on the later games, which I never had a chance to try before my hands became too bad to use a gameboy properly!

Time to download an emulator again and try the games again lol.
