Default Used Games With Old Save Files?

Do you think it's common courtesy for people to wipe their saved games before selling them? And do you delete your saved file before you sell it or do you just think eh whatever?
Do you think it's interesting to see where someone was when you buy a new game and they didn't delete stuff?
Do you play on their save file sometimes just for fun?

I don't really care either way but I do think it's interesting to see where someone's been. I've only had this happen on a used copy of Golden Sun the Lost Age that I received for Christmas one year

One of my weird little pleasures is checking the save data when I get a memory card with a system (usually ps2/gamecube).

I like it when you find old saves on used memory card especially if it is a game that has been played a lot one used game that I have has a save file on it with everything unlocked and it was a pretty hard game to beat.

Sometimes I miss that with new console systems the fact that I won't have used saved game memory cards to go over anymore.

First off I should answer your question Maverick. For me, it's a yes and no question. If the game is a one slot only save then yes, I would appreciate people to wipe their saves for the next person to play. However, if it's a game that has multiple save slots then I don't mind. I remember buying a copy of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and it ended up being the same copy the cashier traded in. I didn't have the heart to wipe her save XD.

Anyways, now to the thing I was gonna put. My friend gave me his PS2 memory card. He said he had wiped it clean but I wanted to make sure. Sure enough, all of his FFX data was still on it. I messaged him about it and he asked me to back it up for him. So I did and I guess that's the end of the story......

A friend of mine picked up a used copy of Zelda: A Link To The Past when we were kids. As you may know, it has three save slots. He loaded it up and the names were as follows:

    1. You
    2. Shit
    3. Head

Needless to say, we laughed our asses off at that little surprise!
