    Default Diablo 1(original game) question

    Does anyone know if there is a safe to use(as in not full of virus or malware etc) program for character editing out there? Only really interested in this to make a quick high level multiplayer character to use for the exploit of unlocking nightmare/hell difficulties on single player.

    I'm not sure if there's a Hero Editor like for D2. But there's BoBaFeTT's Diablo Trainer.

    Tried it, and it says it doesn't recognize my game version, which is 1.09.

    That's because:
    It works with all versions of Diablo up to 1.07 and Hellfire
