Default Dreamcast internal resolution on Demul

I was wondering if anyone thought of the best internal to use with demul, I have a 2700k pc 16gb ram, 780ti and I ran Shenmue disc 1 on it and it seemed ok at 4x internal but lagged a bit on Sonic Adventure, down to 3x and it seems fine but just wondered if there was much point at 1080p

I do see some difference in quality in the Shenmue intro but not too much but I hate playing games at lower than my screen less as it dulls the picture and gets jaggies.

Depends on your system specs so kind of a pointless Q regarding slow downs ect

Best to stick to multiples of 640x480 that is the true res for most software with the exception of a few running at 320x240 running at widescreen res (720x480) will not look as nice as using 4:3 images (640x480) that the Dreamcast was designed to only show so 1080p is just fine so long as the display is still 4:3

Shenmue was very well done for 640x480 anyway

Myself I use a real Dreamcast on my HD TV via VGA, the fact that it is 480p is not that vastly noticeable especially for games like Shenmue, some of the lower end games like Resident Evil 2 are very noticeable but Resident Evil Code Veronica is not as noticeable
