Default i need help playing Gamecube games on the dolphin emulator.

im sure there is a post about this already, i just couldnt seem to find what i was looking for. i downloaded the current version of dolphin and a bunch of gamecube games. the all saved as a .rar file and none of them will show up or load on the emulator.

when i downloaded some nes, snes and n64 games they all downloaded as compressed files, so im a bit confussed as the gamecube .rar riles were all about 1.2 - 1.2 GB, but dont seem to work.

any guidance will be appreciated. thanks

you need to extract the iso from the rar, use 7zip to extract it.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
