    Default SSF Controller Mapping

Pleas redirect me if this is somewhere else, thanks!

My problem is I can't seem to get SSF to map the controller functions to the buttons I want. I have my keyboard joystick board mapped with my first player command listed as the 'numpad' keys (ie 1-0)
When mapping the keys through SSF, it recognizes the up down left right, and other keyboard buttons like a-z and whatever else, but when I try to input the numeric keypad buttons, it just gives me an error bleep and doesn't accept the commands.

Does anyone know why this is? Can anyone offer any help? Is there a way to force my mappings through ... say ... an ini file or something?

    Thanks!

All you can try is with num lock on/off but some programs will not work with num pads at all, so you just have to deal with it or use a control pad

I use a PS2 pad with all my emulators via a cheapo PS2 to PS3 converter (2-3 quid) also known as a PSX/PS2 to USB converter (a PSX pad can also be used)
