No one has mentioned the Eternal Champion? Where's Elin when I need her?

Wanted to reply with an image of mildred but instantly regretted doing a google image search.

For me I think I'd have to go back to having a think about this one as I think there have been a multitude of bosses that have kicked my ass. I'm going to try and think of ones that kicked my ass back in the day since most of the more recent ones have already been mentioned (Krauser, Flamelurker)

The horde of rats in Romancing SaGa 3 (I think it's the third game, anyways) for the SNES. I kept going at them with everything I had, but they just wouldn't fucking die.

Turns out you're supposed to run away from the battle, walk back and get some rat poison and then just shove the bastards aside. Oops.

    Michael Ballack, he scores free-kicks.
He's got black hair, and he's german.
    Michael Ballack, trains in paddocks.
in his spare time, HE FARMS HADDOCKS!
Watch me play Super C, guys!!

I don't know if it's my bad memory but I don't recall False King to be that bad. And Gwyn is no problem if you parry him to death and use the pillars to your advantage if you need some healing.

Neither Gwyn, nor Queelag, nor the Bed of Chaos. The hardest bosses in Dark Souls are Orstein and Smough when you first battle them and the Four Kings In the DLC, Knight Artorias is a beast as well.

On topic, Gilgamesh and his swords crushed me today in FF XIII-2. I'm not supposed to do this Colosseum battle yet, I'm only half way the story

I've never fought that boss. For me hardest boss in FF was Penance (did it without Yojimbo but it took ages)

Part 10 I don't think he was included in American releases (same with the Dark Aeons) Basically he was a super boss. You can instant kill him with Yojimbo but it is possible to beat him without, but you pretty much need to rewrite the sphere grid,

Haven't played it in awhile but Demifiend in DDS. Effffffffff that guy. Pretty sure playing 100% optimally at max level you can still fail pretty easily. I know my success rate vs him is not good. Beating him once was enough.

Demigorgon in the Watcher's Keep in BG2 TOB is tricky if you fight him straight up. Trapping takes all the fun out of the fight imho.

Golbez in FF4. When you get to the underworld,he knocks out most of your party, then Rydia shows up. I just have trouble keeping everyone alive.

How bout Ultimecia (FF8)? Look the very first time I didn't know anything about Junction so you can understand this one right? Or how about Jeane from No More Heroes? Damn I had gone to the gym a dozen times and got Travis all pumped up and this battle was just damn hard! Let's not forget I fell for Bad Girl's trick x_X
Layin down enjoying the fun unleashing the power of the sun and capturing them all until I'm done.
