Yeah, this thread isn't going to get locked. This is semi-important news up till May 20th, a simple gap in posting doesn't make a bump a necro-post.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

    Double post

Just giving this a bump to remind anybody who may have forgotten. Soft modding your Wii may be significantly more difficult tomorrow. I'm sure it'll still be perfectly doable, but hunting down whatever random fleet of IOS files you may need might be nightmare inducing

I've put off modding my 3 spare Wii's till today...

This seems to require a homebrew enabled Wii. Can a homebrew enabled Wii still play games purchased from the online store?

Since the Wii is pretty much a dead console by now, I guess I shall look into making it homebrew enabled.

Default Mario Kart Wii; OFFLINE :(

How are you dealing with the recent action Nintendo decided to take and stop support on Mario Kart Wii?
I know its because the Wii U version was released but very "XP-ish" of Nintendo no? Why not let us enjoy the game and console of our choice?
