Default the day we fight back... huh?

saw what i assumed to be an ad at first, https://thedaywefightback.org/ , on the front page here just now and... so, whats today's fuss all about?

am i imagining things or are all these things getting more common in recent times? piracy, censorship, and now i guess its something about peoples privacy.

If you're talking about people making a fuss about personal integrity, then yes it's getting more and more common. It's not that surprising really, considering new technology and the new methods for governments and whatnot to work with surveillance. In Europe the status of the ECHR is growing stronger and stronger and Sweden even put in an extra paragraph in the constitution about people's integrity (about four years ago, mind you). Not that I think that law-work is affecting people, it's more likely social media, the news and whatnot, but yeah.

So, what was your question/take on this again?

Hrm, I suppose I'm the sort of guy that should care about stuff like this, but I really don't This just makes me think that I need to watch Person of Interest season 2. I want a computer overlord watching me at all times. But not a person, that's creepy.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Personally I'd like it if the government would go beyond just watching me. Like, if they'd actually call me and tell me to get my shit together. See, it'd be great if someone could tell me to study first and mastu... eh, play... solitaire after I'm done with school.

I really have to stop playing solitaire in the school library, see.

I actually accessed the main page that day and got the pop up.
I still do not know what it was all about, but it kinda startled me,
seeing the banner with that "fight back" message.
Was it about something in the US or worldwide?

I ended up closing the site for the rest of that day.
(I think I just did not want to feel I was going to have
a part in some fight I really did know nothing about...)

Anyway, is that something we/I should worry?
