It's not even really the nature of the threads, it's just like...when did shit like resolution become so fucking important? I just feel like there's something severely wrong with us when we can have a 50 page discussion about how many more lines of pixels Game X has on Console Y than its competitors. Did we forget how to have fun at some point?

I was having trouble sleeping so I went down to put the PS3 on. I didn't feel like playing it after the mario conversation, so I'm in the middle of trying to figure out which retro console to set up. I agree with you entirely.

That's Mario 3D World described to the letter. With the exception of perhaps the quest thing, which I'm not entirely sure what you mean by. If you're talking more open-world like Super Mario 64, then that would be pretty awesome.

I was thinking more quests. I loved the way super mario64 was like that.
