Well, I'm not going to be all depressed or nothing. But me and my fiancee decided to call it quits. It's a mutual break up, and I guess it's for the best.

Now to game my sorrows away.

Unfortunately, this wasn't my plan. It was hers. She felt like we rushed into the relationship after a year and a half and she just wanted to find herself, not to mention she had a miscarriage and our baby is now gone...It just hasn't been a good day overall, but I'll live.

Thanks. It's much appreciated. Just wish it didn't have to end this way. But, I'll survive.

Geez, Roxas, sorry to hear it. I don't spend much time with HO folks, but as obnoxious as I may be towards you guys that's awful news. Hoping it at least ended on good(ish?) terms.

Yeah, goodish terms. We're still gonna speak. She just needs to find time to figure out what she wants in life. I need to find what I want in life. And, honestly, being in a relationship is definitely not one at this moment in time. I guess it's time to focus on school more and this job. Plus, me and her are different in major ways. She doesn't wanna settle down, she wants to go out and have fun. I wanna settle down. But it's alright. I'm a man and can take it.

Now to think about this job interview Monday.

Forgive me if I'm being too frank but for someone who wants to settle down things like figuring out what I want or needing some space, etc. are all bad signs for a long term relationship. Part of me wants to roll my eyes every time you talked about your "fiance" at your age, but the other half knows that's silly since I've been in a relationship since I was very young myself. Those are things that can be done together. And generally best figured out before people start getting pregnant and then a poor kid gets to deal with the mess that happens afterwards. But anyway, I suppose I can't do much else besides wish you luck.

It's alright. I just don't think a relationship is right at this moment. I can see where you're coming from, and where she's coming from. I'm a couple years older than her though, but it's alright. I guess now it's time to just hang out with some friends and enjoy the time and money I'll have without a girl.

Just don't go making threads questioning your masculinity, please.

You don't have to worry about that.
