I'll tell you what I would watch though, even if it was 48 plus episodes, is a bad ass version of Battle Royale.
I absolutely love that movie, and if they made a hard as nails anime version of it I'd sooooo buy several copies of it just to support them.
And if you guys haven't seen BR, then you're really missing out.
Oh god, Roxas part 2
Here goes:
Akira
Venus Wars
Vampire Hunter D (original)
Ninja Scroll
Wings of Honneamise/Royal Space Force
MD Geist 1 and 2
Fist of the North Star (Original)
Dominion Tank Police (OAV 1-4)
Roujin-Z
Ghost in the Shell (original, not Stand Alone Complex)
Wicked City
Feel free to jump in Beelze!
Ahhhh, forgot about Black Magic M-66
Devil Man was another good one - did you ever see that by chance?
Haha, yeah I remember hearing about that. CW needs to stay far away from BR.... and Hunger Games is.... well... the less said the better. It's the next Twilight if you ask me
So you seen any of those recommended movies?
I've only seen Devilman volume 1 and 2.... I heard about Lady but never saw it. I think there's an unreleased 3rd chapter that has been fansubbed that follows the original character, but I can't be for sure.
Here's a test for you - have you ever seen Violence Jack? According to lore that was actually supposed to be connected to Devil Man, i.e. Jack was the original Devil Man or some such shit. Didn't pan out in the anime, but the Manga may have closer ties.
Ok, well there's your starting list - if you go back and at least watch half of that shit we mentioned, I guarantee you'll notice the difference between the "then" anime and the "now" anime as I explained earlier. Vastly different.
And as for Hunger Games, I thought the first movie was total shit. I'm so glad I didn't spend money to see it, and I won't watch the sequel or any of the others that follow. Typical teenie bopper bullshit if you ask me.
Wanna see a great anime?
Remake of a old ass manga/anime series, fuckin hilarious
