Age of Empires II HD edition - $4.99
Dark Souls Prepare to Die is currently a flash sale for the next 7 hours or so, and it's only $5.99.
I'm seriously tempted even though I know it runs like shit, and I've beaten the game many times on consoles....
But it's Dark Souls.... and there's mods that make it run better.
Someone talk me out of it, or tell me to buy it

Edit: Yep, bought Dark Souls. Probably won't play it, but it's there if I need it

Good man. If I recall you know own Dark Souls for each platform, welcome to the family.

Picked up Ys 1 & 2 as well as Legend of Dungeon, couldn't help it.

Yep, certainly do! I've done my part to support the franchise.... bought both console vanilla versions at retail, and also bought the expansions for each system as well.

I'm not terribly impressed with the Ys I and II on PC.... I should have just grabbed the PSP versions. They work and all, they just look kinda shitty and aren't even in widescreen.... Oh well, it's Ys though. Can never have enough of a good thing

    Double post:

Today is the last day of the STEAM sale! Looks like they've brought back the most popular deals, so if you missed anything now is the time to check.
I grabbed Far Cry 3 and Anno 2070, both for $7.49.

That completes my spending! I'm still upset they never put BG II:EE on sale. Oh well, maybe the spring sale will have it

I got Valdis Story yesterday, and that's me done for this sale, pretty much. Unless there's something I'm forgetting that's not necessarily on the main page.

I knew you'd cave in to Civ V. Say goodbye to your life when you start playing

Let me know if you want to play - I'm itching for some Civ V action. It's been too long since I've tried it. Btw, did you get the vanilla version or the one with the expansions? I just have the vanilla, but it shouldn't matter either way.

I mostly bought nothing this sale, I also regret nothing (really).

If I ever get into PC gaming properly I'm sure it'll be around another Steam sale anyway.

(Was tempted by Far Cry 3 for £4.99 but what's the point, I've already played it on 360 and have the PS3 version from PS+ too.)

Hell, the two games I did buy from this sale, I thought are games I might actually want to play on PC one day. I'm pretty sure Skyrim will run better on PC than it ever will on the 360 or PS3. And Deus Ex Human Revolution purely because I love that game. And it was cheap.

    Grabbed Xcom......
It's not what I expected, but overall, I'm glad I spent that money.

I got the one with all the DLC. I've been told that's the way to go in terms of Civ. And yeah, I made the decision to cave quite a while ago. It was just a matter of actually buying it.

Don't worry, I had the same impression at first too, then I never stopped playing it.
