Far Cry 3, Hard Reset and the Bioshock triple pack from Steam. Outlast, Guacamelee and Binding of Isaac from the Humble Bundle store.

Waiting for deals on Fallout 3 GOTY, System Shock 2 and Hotline Miami but I don’t plan on buying much this sale unless something else comes up. Maybe Blood Dragon if it gets a better discount.

Bought The Walking Dead Season 1 for $12.49. Wolf Among Us made me do it....

Is it sad that I own WD on 360.... but since the system is boxed up I'm too lazy to get it out to play it? Oh well, at least with the PC comes mouse support

I'm sure Gaben loves us Spose' .... we're buying lots of shit and it's only day 3 of the sale!

Deus Ex Human Revolution was tempting, but I still resisted.

So is Borderlands 2 still fun if I hated the first game? Or is it just the same shit with different graphics? The non-GOTY version is cheap enough for me to consider it.

Ok, here's my view on BL1 and 2 - take it for what it's worth.
BL 1 is a mediocre shooter, with some fun loot grinding and general fun if you are playing with friends. That's how I felt about it. I enjoyed it, but it was overlong and there was no story to speak of.
BL 2 is exactly the same - almost nothing has been touched. It's marginally prettier, but all other aspects of the game are exact. If playing on a console, you'll notice the framerate is a little worse, making it barely passable as a shooter. I didn't care for it at all. I did grab it for free on PS+ and have had some fun with it since there's no monetary value attached, but I'll never finish it.

You're obviously eyeing the Steam version, so it'll look and play better for sure, but it's still Borderlands. There's nothing in the sequel that would make you change your mind about the franchise if you hated the first one

Yeah, that's what I suspected to be quite honest, thanks for the heads up. Not gonna bother with it, then.

New flash sales just went up.
Picked up a couple more games to add to the Steamlog of shame

Ys I and II Chronicles $3.74
    Skyrim (Standard) $7.49

I've been waiting on Skyrim to hit a sale - I can't wait to check out all the mods in this game. Texture packs, new areas/quests, etc.
