Converting a folder or RAR to an ISO

I know someone who is having issues. He claims that after combining all the images of several parts of a .ZIP download, that they transform into a RAR file instead of the ISO. Furthermore, when he opens it, it transforms into the game folder which houses all the game's inner files. He says he's using Windows 7. How do you convert a PS2 game folder into an ISO after combining all the parts? Also, does he convert them from the RAR form or in its folder form after extracting? What do I tell him?

If he's using winrar .iso files are probably associated with the archive prog. Which is why he thinks he has a rar file instead of a game image.

So what do i tell him? Run the game as is in its rar form?

Change the file associations in winrar. If he doesn't he will be eternally confused.

Options>settings>integration...untick the ISO box.
