THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
I paid full price for it at launch, found it boring, graphics are a bit weird and not very pretty, and can't get into the handling model.
This is just my opinion though, I'm a fan of racing games like Forza and Gran Turismo remember, not the arcadey stuff. Although I do enjoy GRID/Dirt etc... I just don't really like GRID 2 much at all.
I'm not saying this to put you off though! We have trophies to do!

Spoiler warning:
Honestly FPS campaigns are never worth that much unless there is a solid multiplayer that you actually plan to play extensively.
Btw I find myself clocking more hours in games than people in general, I remember seeing how Dead Space 2 was 6-8 hours while I finished at 12-13 or so. Even Bioshock Infinite took me at least 15 when it's said to be around 10...
Bioshock Infinite and Persona 4 Golden (Vita) pretty much confirmed for PS+ for next year by Chris Howes, by the way, folks.
Depends on how you double it. I just like exploring and looking at all the details in the environment. I looked at all the posters and stuff in Dead Space. I get the feeling some people just rush through games without taking the time to appreciate all the effort the level designers put into it. I personally only rush if I'm not enjoying a game *that* much or if I'm getting bored of it.
You forget I play FPS games with K+M primarily.
Achievement whoring taught me to rush games, fly through every mission as fast as possible because you just want the points at the end. Not to enjoy the setting/levels/campaign/story.
