That is about the same MOBO and Video card as mine, but a year newer.
Your RAM will be bottlenecked unless you plan on OCing them in your BIOS...and...AMD still doesn't support PCI 3.0 so your video card could perform better...and ...That is all I have time for. G'night.

    Good luck.
I don't bet on games. Homer bias gets in the way, can't think clearly.

Carolina is currently losing to the Canucks, though, and back-to-back games with travel is really hard on the players, so as long as we come out swinging and establish ourselves in the first period, we should be okay. Unless Dubnyk shits the bed like at the beginning of the season. He played very well against Calgary on Saturday, though, so here's hoping.

Glorious PC and Emulation Master Race
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

I could just care less about buying any current gen consoles right now, game selection is tiny. Give it a year or two.

I said Xbox. Have you played Metal Wolf Chaos?
The last gen stuff you can't emulate are 360/PS3.

    Decided to play FF12.

Pop game into PS2, reads fine, PS2 logo shows and fades away.

Nothing. Just a fucking black screen.

To be fair, Metal Wolf Chaos is the only Xbox game that would actually be worth emulating. Not a huge loss.

If you're learning Japanese, there are really enough great games from the 90s and early millennium to last you the rest of your life. Just try getting out of the rabbit hole that is PC-98 games.

Are you in the mindset I was planning on actively emulating? I really don't mind not emulating PS3/Xbox360 games because my best mate would loan me his PS3 anyday lol.
