We have the same launch date as Europe for PS4 (which makes sense because we are PAL region), and Xbox One is the same for most of the western world afaik. The only difference is that PS4 supply here is lacking.

The problems with both systems - blue light of death and the disc read problems.
It seems pretty few and far between, and most of the so called issues are coming from Amazon users, which doesn't mean shit in my book. User reviews on Amazon are as bad if not worse than the shitty user reviews on Metacritic. Just a bunch of angry fanboys raging about nonsense.

Speaking of fanboys, you have a new avatar for me?

I didn't say the issues were widespread. But Sony did initially admit that around 0.4% of PS4's had issues, and then less than a week later revised that to "less than 1%". Which indicates many thousands based on 1 million units.
Also, M$ are doing quick replacements before you even send the faulty unit back + a free game.

There are some sites that wouldn't claim to be quoting official statements if they weren't actually official.
Sony wouldn't like that neither would M$ for that matter.

Sites like who.... IGN? I'm convinced those fuckers are paid off on most of their reviews these days, same as Gamespot.

Seriously though, who cares.... My system didn't break, and the problem isn't nearly as big of an issue as any of that RROD shit that happened years back.

You spear any Kangaroo lately? I could use one instead of a Turkey this year for the holidays

And before some comment comes in about how Ninty doesn't release broken systems, just remember that their tech is fucking years old to begin with. That shit better work

I'm sure there'll be Wii U reliability issues in the future. OH WAIT, it's not even powerful enough to get hot. Does it even have moving parts? What are Nintendo playing at!

But really, i wanna hear about it from users other than the rube crew at gfaqs, ign, gamespot, etc.

    Oh, and happy Turkey Day!
I don't know if he bought a Xbone too but I do know he purchased a PS4.

I've pre-ordered and cancelled one twice now. Dead Rising 3 is so tempting but then I remember there's literally nothing else on the console that interests me.

Well, except for maybe Forza 5. Though they've completely ruined that game from the sounds of things.

(Not following reviews at all) What's wrong with Forza 5?

Forza 5 would be the only game that would get me to buy an Xbone, and as I've said £430 + £50 = almost enough for a real car, so the chance of me blowing that much cash on a new Xbone is just not happening.

Nowhere near as many cars/tracks as the previous titles and they've made the game much more grindy because they're hoping you'll say fuck it and spend real money to unlock specific cars.

As in the most expensive cars genuinely cost £30 to buy.

    Each.

    In a £50 game.

This is truly a generation of paying more to get less, isn't it?

I remember when Forza games actually had cars, and tracks! On the disc!!
