Mame help please?

I'm not new to emulation, but I'm new to mame. I have downloaded Mame4droid Reloaded on my tablet and have downloaded a few roms. None seem to work, I keep getting an error of missing CHD or Missing Files.....I'm not sure what it means.
Some of the games I'm trying to emulate are SFIII and Samurai Shodown 5.
I have NeoGeo.zip as well.
Help?

I guess i have found out one of my problems, I can't seem to ever download the "parent" rom, is there a list for this?

**Another Update** I got Samurai Shodown 5 to work by updating my NeoGeo.zip but Fatal Fury 3 will not work, and its parent is also neogeo.zip?

neogeo.zip is just the bios that helps mame emulate a neo geo system you'll find there's hundreds konami atari etc etc a parent is an original game the clones are usually different countries ie the us version will just be a few hundred kb and need a larger japan version to work. I've got a few fatal fury games including 3 just tried them on the pc they work in mame v119 but they don't in mame v150??
it might be that the version you have isn't compatible with your version of mame they're always flipping updating lol, if you get a files missing error it means mame didn't find everything it needs to run the game whether that's part of the rom a bios file, chd or could be a bad dump. i don't have experience with mame4droid so can't help a lot. does it give any info of what is missing? if it gives a code of some form, type it in google

Use clrmamepro but only when you know what version mame Mame4droid is based on and make sure you are using the dat that matches it, otherwise you will have a very hard time getting games to work

Mame is not the easiest of emulator to get the roms for as these change from version to version
