Default Quick question for PC and PS3 gamers

Was wondering what type of headset would be good (and can be used on both if possible) would be best for PS3 and PC gaming? I don't want to shell out for a £200 headset or something ridiculous, but am willing to go to £30-50. Any help would be appreciated

Weeell, do you look for anything special in your headset? Microphone? Audio quality? Wireless?

I'm not too bothered about wired or wireless. I'd like it to have decent audio quality. My main concern is sturdyness. I bought a cheap one for the PC a long time ago and it lasted a couple of weeks before crapping out ( the headphones were retractable and the wires kept getting caught and eventually wore down.

Well, I would recommend Sennheiser, the HD models. The only issue I have had with those is that the audio jack is getting bent, but that's because I have them connected to my iPod wich is in my pocket, but as long as you don't bend them, they work fine. They are sturdy, as long as you don't drop them in water with power on :/

I recommend a Razer, they're 40 bucks and a very popular and durable headset.

I've had mine for about a year and it still works just fine.
