Default New user - help needed (PSP emulation on Android (Nexus 10))

Hi. I'm new to this emulator thing so please bear with me.... I've downloaded and installed fpse and ppsspp with all bios etc. From this site I've downloaded games for each. One is a . 7z and one a . rar
However this site calls them . Iso which is what I thought I needed? Files are showing in download folder but when navigating to that folder when trying to load games from within the emulators nothing is shown. What am I doing wrong? I'm on a nexus 10

    Welcome to Emuparadise

What you've downloaded are the games compressed. You have to use either Winrar or 7zip to extract the image file (.iso) which you should be able to run in your emulator.

I'm moving this to the right area of the forums and will link you to a tutorial in case that you haven't used any of these programs before:

    Thanks, I'll take a look

Right, I used a different app than the ones mentioned as they were not on the play store but it does unpack both types which I have done in their own folders. Still can't locate via either emulator, find folders fine and click in yet shows nothing, does clearly show unpacked files in folders when looking via file browsing app. Still help, please

Could you list all the files you have after extracting the files you downloaded? We'll need the complete name of the files, file extensions included.

Fpse game has one file, a .bin.ecm

    Thanks for the help

ecm files are another kind of compressed files, you'd need an un-ecm app for android (can't really tell if there's any free one) to convert your ecm file to the image file.

As for the other game, the .r00 file is the one you have to select in order to extract the image file, the process is automated and it will make use of all the numbered rar files to get you the image file.
