Yeah unfortunately the new Monolith game is making me get a Wii U console. I'll get one as cheap as possible though. Probably far into the future. I might even pick up some games for it before I get the console. Did that with 360 and it paid off cause I got a few games at their lowest price point.

I'm after a Wii U at some point, hopefully before the next Monster Hunter game, so I can get in on the co-op action on that with my friend, since there's no hope of the next MH game coming to anything other than 3DS/WiiU?

Are there really that many people who absolutely HATE being notified when they win a trophy??

Does it remove them altogether? I'd prefer to be notified when I unlock one, but I give no shits either way really.

From what I gather, you have the option to turn notifications on or off. I also prefer to to hear the chime and see what trophy I've received.

Nothing wrong with that, but the sites I've hit to read up on the firmware fix are full of hate comments about the trophy chimes. Some people really dislike them

I find it to be a minor annoyance. I'd definitely disable if I could but the update is borked.
