    Default 3DO Anyone like it?

I was on another forum and people were talking about it, and its been awhile since I downloaded games, so Ive been downloading 3DO games and 4DO is a good emulator for it. If you guys want Ill upload games which arent on the iso section for it on the main site.

Did anyone have one of these way back when?

3DO was a great system, It just suffered from little thrid party support, But for the time the hardware was amazing, Best port of Street Fighter 2 to that point, I never owned one they weren't even sold in my country, And if they were they would of been around 900-1000 USD

A good thing to do is to download iso's and burn them to play on it since theres no region or copy protection lockout.

All I remember about the 3DO was the expensive price, adult softcore games, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo and watching Pauly Shore play Return Fire in one of his cheesy movies.

Why a rip off? At the time no other hardware was close to as powerful as it, It wasn't until the PSX came out the following year it became dated, 3DO had great potential if it had third party support it did 3D and 2D very well

I actually had a 3D0, spent a lot of time with it and a large number of its games, and had real fun with it. Don`t get me wrong many titles were crap (Bladeforce I really didn`t care for, Quarantine, Gex wasn`t my style, PO`ed was a poor Doom rip off and a bunch more) but it had some games with a lot of charm (Immercenary was awesome, Killing Time was a console FPS that really got it right, Road Rash was the best version out to that point and a killer soundtrack. Samurai Shodown still rules.) Overall not nearly as bad as people make it out to be, but not what it could have been with better third party support. I wish I still my system.

I had a Panasonic 3DO when they were first released in the UK. I got it for £400, which was a small fortune back then. I also had a lot of games for it, some of which were awesome, and some were... well, not so awesome.

It was expensive, but in it's day the graphics were revolutionary for a home console. I don't own one at present, but I wish I still had mine. It was a true classic.

It was a rip off cuz it didn't have enough good games to justify its high price tag

My little excursion into 3DO is long over. It had potential to get PC games a home console outlet, and thats basically its only plus all these years later. 4DO is a pretty shacky emulator, I always feel its gonna crash at any second, except when I played Samurai Shodown on it.

4DO works perfect for me never had a problem its also the only 3DO emulator that can emulate crash and burn, what's your pc specs? sounds more like the problem to me.
