Chrono Cross on fpse problem

Hi,
I just downloaded chrono cross to play on fpse on my xperia play tablet. It starts up fine but when i go in to the status menu in the in game menu, the screen goes black and freezes. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and might have a solution. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Did you know you can also get ePSXe for mobile devices

Not a fan of emulating on touch screen mobile devices myself so I wouldn't know of any fixes (In general I need a controller to get enjoyment, unless it is an actual touch screen game)

yes I've seen it in the play store actually, but also heard that fpse is meant to be the best android ps emulator. I might try epsxe then, just didnt want to have to pay for another emulator fpse seems to work fine for me for other games I've tried, just really want to play chrono cross.

yeah I wouldn't use my tablet for emulation but I was able to pair my Wii-mote with it so makes it very playable.

if fpse is configurable for the video try changing the offscreen drawing and I would imagine that ePSXe has a higher compat that fpse it is also a newer emulator so fpse may of been the best until ePSXe arrived

They don't have great video configuration with fpse, Can't change the off screen drawing. I'll just have to try epsxe.

Hey sorry I didnt get back sooner, downloaded an opengl plugin and tried all sorts of video settings on fpse with no joy. Resorted to downloading epsxe and has none of the problems I had with chrono cross on fpse. Thanks a million for your help. Looking forward to getting through the game now
