Pokemon Black 2 Stuck at Start Screen

The game loads up to the new game screen but when i select it i just get put back to the start screen. I have tried using Desmume 64 and 32 bit version as well as no$GBA, i have tried multiple different version of the game, the same thing happens with Pokemon white 1 so i'm guessing i just need to change a setting within the emulator settings.

CPU.
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.2Ghz

Graphics card.
PNY GTX 560ti

RAM.
4GB DDR2

Operating system.
Windows 7 64Bit

Extra: The last time i played pokemon black 2 on desmume i was on Windows Vista 32Bit and using a Radeon HD5450

What do you mean by start screen?

If i select start a new game i get put back to this screen.

It could be as simple as just getting A and B mixed up, and thus pressing cancel instead of play. I thought maybe you meant that it was sending you back to the firmware menu or something.

Seems like you should look at your configuration more.
