Default Do you need .cue files? (PS)

I don't really understand what the .cue files are good for... dvd burning purposes? I only emulate the PS games so I wondered if I need to keep the .cue files or if I can throw them away.

A CUE file is a text file with the TRACKs data description.

Depending on the emulator/burning tool you'll need those, especially if you want to hear the CD's audio tracks.

You won't have the music tracks in multitrack games if you don't load the cue in emulators.
