Default Can't run ePSXe, gives error message

Hi, I downloaded ePSXe, the latest version available from this site but once I unzipped it to a folder and clicked on the executable program it gives me this:

    Name: epsxe-error.png
Views: 849
Size: 34.2 KB

...and I am running on Windows 7. Any others having this issue? Thanks in advanced.

Do you have the zlib1.dll in the same folder of epsxe? Is the only thing that comes to my mind that can be missed and that the emulator needs...
I don't have Windows 7 so I don't know if the emulator runs well on that operating system. ePSXe for sure runs well in Windows Vista.

You should try running chkdsk from the command line along with the /f parameter, i.e.,

    "chkdsk /f" without the quotes

Be sure to run this on the partition holding the executable. Let me know if this corrects the issue, if not post back with results.

"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

Looks like a "standard .NET framework missing" error.

It's and old emulator: try the 3.5 version...

Download and install the .Net framework 3.5 (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...ils.aspx?id=21) it include 2.0 version too.

Run the emulator, also try to update the DirectX!
